Trump is described as a Nazi, an anti-semite, and a fascist pretty frequently these days by leftists. Now even Obama is joining in, by implying that Trump is new “Hitler”.
Lets look at the facts:
1) The Nazi’s Were Socialists
Hence the name, National Socialist German Worker’s Party. I think even liberals would agree that Trump is not a Socialist. In fact, Socialism and Communism are almost identical. To paraphrase Stefan Molyneux from Freedomain Radio; Socialism is when your individual rights are voted away, communism is when they are taken away. Either way ultimately gets you the same result which is poverty and death (See WW2).
2) Fascism is NOT a Right-Wing Ideology
Fascism is a left-wing ideology which results from an out of control government. The Merriam-Webster definition is as follows:
Definition of fascism for Students
a political system headed by a dictator in which the government controls business and labor and opposition is not permitted
Progressives favor larger government including more regulations, greater control over private industries, higher taxes, and overall larger government. Conservatives favor a smaller government, individual rights and freedoms, and lower taxes.
For an in depth look at how the Left has tricked the public into believing that any of the above ideologies are right wing, please check out Dinesh D’Souza’s book, The Big Lie: Exposing the Nazi Roots of the American Left. It is a game changer when it comes to the way you view today’s politics.
3) Trump Supports Our Gun Rights
The reason our founders included the 2nd amendment in the constitution is to protect us from a tyrannical (fascist) government. How do you think Hitler was able to take over Germany so easily and execute millions?
4) Trump Supports Israel
I don’t think an “anti-semite” would officially recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. I am not arguing for or against this decision but am just observing how silly this allegation is.
Donald Trump has defied overwhelming global opposition by recognising Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, but insisted that the highly controversial move would not derail his own administration’s bid to resolve the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
In a short speech delivered at the White House, Trump directed the state department to start making arrangements to move the US embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem – a process that officials say will take at least three years.
“I have determined that it is time to officially recognize Jerusalem as the capital of Israel,” Trump said. “While previous presidents have made this a major campaign promise, they failed to deliver. Today, I am delivering.”
Based on Obama’s views on gun control and preference for a large and intrusive government, it seems to me that he’s the one we should be a bit more worried about…
